About the Department of Second Languages

The Department of Languages started functioning in this college right from the beginning of its academic history in 2010. From then onwards Arabic, Hindi and Malayalam have been offered as second languages for programs such as BA, BSC, BCOM, BBA, and BCA. Apart from the academic syllabus, students are given immense opportunities to get acquainted with the enlightened world of ancient, medieval and modern language and literature.

Vision

The vision of the Department is to produce eminent scholars in Arabic, Hindi and Malayalam languages, and make the pupil aware of the rich heritage and The Department is offering quality education programmes and it facilitates for intensive study. The Department of Languages strengthens the liberal education of the students by developing a deepened understanding of language and literature, the value of critical reading and the stage skills.
