ONAM 2022
Cherpulassery college of Science and Technology celebrated Onam on Sep 1,2022 in the college’s premises . The celebrations started with setting up of an attractive floral decoration (pookalam) in the reception area. Impressive designs and artistic creativity were the hallmarks of the Pookalam, which turned out to be attractive and mesmerizing and took everyone into a world of festivity and fun.
The arrival of Mahabali amid the beats of panchavadyam was well-received by the audience. The main attractions of the programme were Thiruvathira Kali by female teachers and students
Dr Abdul Bari, Principal, addressed the gathering and conveyed greetings and wishes of the festival. These onam celebrations have become a great stress buster for the students. Students and staff members played and enjoyed various outdoor games. Students from different communities celebrated this festival with together. Competitions were organized. All the faculties’ members and students were participated in the event.
Stage 1 (open stage ) programmes were conducted by Shalima from BCA and Sreelakshmi from economics. They conducted various games including lemon spoon, kayar bun, water filling. Stage 2 programmes were conducted by Anjala from English and krishnapriya from BCom finance. Sundarike pottu thodal , uriyadi, Musical chair are they games conducted over there. Celebration ended up with Tug off war, third BCom finance won the game.
