Parents Teachers Management Association

An active Parent Teachers Association functions in this college. The PTMA of the college provides remarkable support to the activities of the institution. The PTMA assists the overall development of students by extending financial and other supports to the curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities of students. All parents whose wards are in the roles of the college, all teaching staff and the management members are members of the PTMA.

The office bearers of the association consist of President, Vice president, Secretary, Joint secretary, Treasurer and the executive committee members. PTMA is emerging stronger now and its presence and activities could do a lot for the progress of college and students in future. An executive committee consisting of elected parents and nominated teachers ensures implementation of various decisions taken in the periodical class wise PTMA.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

• To work for the welfare of the students and the institution and to offer constructive suggestions for the smooth and successful functioning of the college.
• To foster and promote good relationship among the members of the teaching staff, student and parents of the students.
• To assist students coming from socially and economically backward group, financially or otherwise to complete engineering education successfully.
• To institute scholarships, prizes, medals etc. to benefit students showing high proficiency in their studies and extracurricular activities.

GENERAL INFORMATIONS

• PTMA meeting will be scheduled twice in a semester as per academic schedule.
• The date and time will be informed well in advance.
• Academic performance in internal tests and university semester examination will be discussed.
• The regularity (attendance) and other issues shall be discussed.
